Donald Trump’s former lawyer is expected to appear as a key witness today in the Manhattan district attorney’s case against the former president. Michael Cohen will testify about his role in negotiating $130,000 in hush money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election, and how he paid his retainer in 2017. Those allegations are at the heart of the impeachment against Trump. With Cohen’s testimony, however, comes all the baggage that comes with being a longtime fixer of the former president.
