Taylor Swift responded to the news of her latest album dropping Sunday, Department of Tortured PoetsAs big as his fans expected.
According to advertisement board, Swift, now 14, has tied Jay-Z for the most No. 1 hits by a solo artist after the album peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated May 4). She is beaten only by The Beatles who are 19 years old.
Department of Tortured Poets It marked the highest number of streams for an album in a single week since 2014, when Billboard began measuring the units. The publication described the debut as “tremendous”, including a “staggering” figure of 859,000 vinyl sales.
After the news, Swift said she was “blown away” and “absolutely blown away by the love you've shown this album.”
