Massachusetts authorities have identified Jared Ravisa as the man who stabbed six people on Saturday.
Ravisa is accused of injuring four girls at a movie theater in Braintree, Massachusetts, before attacking two at a McDonald’s in Plymouth.
His name was first Reported by Boston 25 NewsIt cited a law enforcement source.
Ravisa allegedly began his bloody spree at AMC Braintree 10 on Saturday around 6 p.m., when he entered the theater without paying and silently stabbed four young women, Braintree police said.
All four are under the age of 17, the youngest being just 9.
A theater concession worker described the suspect as wearing an “oversized trench coat, sunglasses and a long blonde wig.” According to CBS Boston.
The girls were taken to Boston-area hospitals and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Ravizza then fled in an SUV and drove 30 miles to Plymouth, Massachusetts, where he is believed to have stabbed a 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man inside a fast food joint.
The victims were treated at the hospital for life-threatening injuries.
Ravisa led police on a car chase before crashing in Mass Sandwich.
The police arrested him and took him to the hospital for treatment.
Ravisa may also be connected to a murder investigation in Deep River, Connecticut.
Connecticut State Police issued a warning to the suspect earlier Saturday, describing him as “armed and dangerous” with a 10-inch knife, CBS Boston reported.
