Apple’s new artificial intelligence features will roll out in October, missing the initial release of iPhone and iPad software updates, a step. Bloomberg report Published on Monday.
The company separated Apple Intelligence features from the initial iOS release due to concerns about their stability and the need to conduct extensive testing, the report said.
Apple said its AI features will be released in beta this fall and are expected to help boost sales of Apple’s new iPhones. These features only work on iPhone 15 Pro and newer models. Promised Apple Intelligence features like ChatGPT integration and Siri improvements are expected to roll out sometime later in the year.
Apple plans to give developers early access to Apple Intelligence in the iOS 18.1 beta this week, Bloomberg said.
The company first announced Apple Intelligence on June 10. AI features are available on all Macs and iPads running the M1 chip or newer and transcribe phone calls.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
