Won 16-6 Louisville Cardinals In the ACC Championship, the Florida State Seminoles secured a 13-0 record and one of the best resumes in college football.

FSU opened the season with an eye-opening win LSU, the first of eight wins against bowl-eligible Power Five teams (most in the nation). The Seminoles have three wins over their first 25 contests – Louisville, LSU and Clemson.

In the final college football rankings for the 2023 season, Florida State is ranked No. Finished 5th after 1st. Michigan WolverinesNo. 2 Washington HuskiesNo. 3 Texas Longhorns and no. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide.

It was the first time since the inception of the BCS that an undefeated Power 5 team was denied a chance to play for a national championship.
