Tiffany Haddish was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Police were called at 5:45 a.m. PST Friday, and he was taken into custody a short time later, a public information officer told CNN.
According to TMZHadeesh was not involved in the accident but was reportedly sleeping in the parked vehicle while the car was running.
CNN has reached out to Haddish’s representatives for comment.
Haddish reportedly performed for the comedy club’s 43rd annual free Thanksgiving dinner at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood on Thursday night.
The comedian was also arrested in 2022 in Peachtree City, Georgia on suspicion of driving under the influence after falling asleep at the wheel.
He later addressed the incident during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” that same month.
“All I can say is Jimmy, I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man,” Haddish said. “God went ahead and sent me four men in uniform. I didn’t expect that.”
“I have a great lawyer and we’re going to do it. I just need to get a little better at asking God for things,” Haddish said at the time.
Hadeesh, who has appeared in several television shows, is best known for her stand-up comedy and her role in the film “Girls Trip.”
